AGER | DYER | ARTIST | DESIGNER
My Background
I am a passionate textile artist based in Atlanta, GA. Originally from the historic city of Charleston, SC, where I developed an early love of textures, colors and the stories they tell.
My creative aspirations led me to New York City to study Fashion Design at Pratt Institute. Immersing myself in the fast-paced world of fashion. Multiple textile courses helped me to hone my skills and develop a keen eye for detail, pattern-making and fabric manipulation.
I’ve been working in costumes for film and television for the past three years, with roles as a Coordinator, Tailor, and Ager Dyer. My true passion lies in the art of aging and dying fabrics to bring authenticity and depth to characters’ costumes.
I have recently relocated to Atlanta, GA where I combine my fashion education to create intricate, handcrafted textile work that explores the individual themes of each character. However, I remain an active member in Local 491.
